Description:

The raw materials of this cake came from villages in Myanmar, its north border on small Mengsong mountain. Tea trees are about three hundreds years old and remain unmanaged. The natives living in isolated areas where transportation is difficult, they carry the tea on the backs and walk to the border. The tea is not expensive but does not come by easily.

Pleasant surprise

The first infusion was quite bitter, probably because it's Gushu (wild tea trees) and also this year's tea. It should lose its bitterness late on when the raw cake will be properly stored. Since the second infusion bitterness has subsided and later almost disappeared. It smelled sweet, very pleasant smell in the cup. I do not know how I would describe the taste, as herbal - flower, but I like it very much. For the price of $ 14, I'd say that this is an excellent tea, certainly adept for buying a cake - if not the entire Tong (5 pieces) ;-)

7g, 130ml, wash 10s – 15/5/10/15/25/30/40/50/60sec

Quotes - Pu-erh

„Fermentation is a tea production style in which the tea leaves undergo microbial fermentation and oxidation after they are dried and rolled. This process is a Chinese specialty and produces tea known as Hei Cha (黑茶), commonly translated to dark, or black tea (this type of tea is completely different from what in West is known as "black tea", which in China is called "red tea"). “
