Kukitya 2013

5 stars 4.5 This review helped: 0 / 0

It is a variant of Kukicha, a tea containing a proportion of stalks, twigs and leaf of Sencha. The ratio of stalks to leaves is roughly 1:1. Leaves are rather small and broken.

Taste the grassy, sweet - salty. Bitterness is very soft.

This is a pleasant tea with good price for everyday drinking. 50g for €3.90
80 ml pot - water 60 ° C - 60s/10/15/20

Quotes - Green tea

„A book written in the Tang Dynasty of China is considered one of the most important in the history of green tea. The book was written by Lu Yu and is called the "Tea Classic" or "Cha Jing". It was written between 600 and 900 AD and spoke about exactly how and where one could enjoy a fine cup of green tea.“

Quotes

„ji qi rou (de); 机器揉(的) - Machine rolled. Some machine rolled tea has a very pleasing appearance and most tea gardens, however small, will have a machine, which is generally electric, but sometimes hand operated. However, the best sheng puer tea is still hand rolled.“
